This is my first year as head coach and honestly, I'm just an English chap who likes to ride bikes. I've been riding since I could walk and I have found coaching riders on how to mountain bike a rewarding experience.
I share my knowledge about nutrition, training, and bike skills with individual riders and through team instruction at practices. I deeply value positive interpersonal team interactions from a social perspective and enjoy the camaraderie the team develops during the season. My goal is to create a supportive environment for all riders.

I have enjoyed being a part of this team since 2019 when our oldest son joined. It didn’t take long to realize we fit right into this community and so it was natural for our youngest to join in 2022. This team has been a huge part of our lives in so many ways. While I’m not an avid rider, I can appreciate the love of biking my boys have developed from both the team and being able to ride so many great trails. For me the races are the most fun as we support our riders, laugh, eat and enjoy beautiful California.

I love the outdoors & enjoy spending time hiking, skiing, camping and playing soccer. I started mountain biking in 2021 when my son said "Mom, you should ride. It's fun." When my son encouraged me, I found out how much fun it is. I look forward to working with North Marin Composite team & want to help riders have a great experience.

I’ve been chasing wheels since my two young boys could push their scoot bikes around. Now I chase my oldest, Te’ah, around the race course riding for the North Marin Composite High School team and the same this year with my youngest, Rowan, riding with the middle school Devo team. The riders train hard and have fun at it! I’m honored to work with a talented group of parents and happy to assist in our team fundraising goals!

My youngest son joined the High School mountain bike team as a freshman in 2022. I enjoy supporting him and all the riders along with the team's families. I have found the biking community welcoming. My goal as a team coordinator is to make sure our pitzone has everything the team needs and keeping everything organized. This also includes keeping the riders fed and helping new families navigate race day.

I have been biking in the hills of Marin since I rode my Schwinn Stingray on Mt Burdell as a kid in the late 70's. I have also spent my career working in the outdoors of Marin as a local firefighter/medic. I enjoy bringing my experiences to the students and coaches to help provide a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Working together, we aim to help all of our team members get the most out of their time on the team. It is our goal to help the kids develop as riders, leaders, and teammates; as well as gain an appreciation of a life-long sport such as biking.
